Blurb:
A master of food therapy who specializes in griddle hotpot has arrived in Xianyao Village. No pulse-taking or medicine needed: nourishing food cures every illness, and she has never failed!
Yao Xian, a master with notoriously bad luck, works hard and finally saves up enough points for a guaranteed draw from the card pool. She takes a deep breath. Once she collects all the legacy heroes, she'll be able to go home. It won't be long now!
On an auspicious day, Yao Xian bathes, changes clothes, and reverently bows to the ginkgo tree at the entrance of Xianyao Village. Then, trembling, she taps the button for a ten-pull.
Who knew the first ten-pull would shine with golden light?
A dazzling cast-iron griddle pan drops from the sky and crashes into a deep pit right in front of her toes.
[Upgrade Card +9, Legacy Griddle Pan +1]
Yao Xian: ...
If she'd known a beginner's ten-pull came with a griddle pan, why would she have gone to all that trouble forging iron to upgrade one?

Yao Xian accepts her fate.
A bad-luck player is a bad-luck player. Luck won't save you, and spending money won't change... Oh, she can't spend money anyway.
Fortunately, the food made with the legacy griddle pan comes with bonus buffs. If the fickle card pool won't give her what she wants, she can just grind a little. At worst, she'll stack buffs on ordinary villagers until they max out, then use Upgrade Cards to evolve them one by one!
The points card pool: ?
The points card pool: Understood.
Another ten-pull:
[Ordinary Teapot +1, Ordinary Teacup +1, Ordinary Ceramic Bowl +1, Ordinary Rice +1, Rare Cilantro +1, Unusual Fish Mint +3, Epic Cabbage +1, Legacy Radish +1]
Legacy Radish's pop-up animation: Oh, I hate this! I'm not a radish, I'm a ginseng root~
Yao Xian: ???
Where are the Upgrade Cards?

Later on, Xianyao Village prospers.
The legacy villagers Yao Xian worked so hard to raise go behind her back and conquer the world!
The butcher at the village entrance becomes a general who pacifies the kingdom, the sharp-tongued auntie becomes an incorruptible censor, and the little girl picked up by the roadside turns out to be the new empress?
The scumbag father who abandoned Yao Xian in Xianyao Village throws himself in front of the carriage come to take her to the palace, pounding the ground and weeping: 'Xian'er, I had no idea! It's all that wicked woman's fault!'
Yao Xian: ? Wasn't I just borrowing an identity? How did it become real?
