A girl suddenly falls from the sky into the Kozume household.
No family register, no identity, no money, no common language, and she discovers this isn't her world. After struggling to survive, she gets picked up by Kozume Kenma, who lets her earn her keep with her professional skills.
Realizing there's a soft heart beneath her employer's cold exterior, she decides to get him to help her obtain a family register.
Girl: "Kenma, please, marry me!"
Kenma: "...Why?"
Girl: "I need to register as a citizen. Then I'll have an identity and can go to school and find a job."
Kenma: "...Can't you register through someone you love?"
Girl: "I really love you, Kenma."
Kenma: "...I've been speechless too many times today. Anyway, no."
Girl: "Then I'll ask again tomorrow."
Kenma: "..."
