Lin Wuyin and Shen Nianhe grew up together in an orphanage. Close in age, they naturally became best friends, supporting each other and working hard to make a life for themselves. After they started working, they managed to save some money, and their lives slowly began to improve. But fate had other plans: Lin Wuyin was diagnosed with a terminal illness and had little time left.
After Lin Wuyin passed away, Shen Nianhe gradually came to terms with the loss and continued the work they had left unfinished together. Many years later, she too passed away from overwork.
