The Summer Moon Boat

On a summer night, a little rabbit, a little lamb, and a little cat sat together in the courtyard to cool off. They held fans and ate popsicles as Grandma Tree told them a story.

Grandma Tree said that once upon a time, there was a moon boat that came in May to take children to Moon Island for a visit. They would play for one night, then the boat would take them back to their little beds at home. The children would think it had all been a dream. None of them remembered, and none of them knew where they had gone.
