[Writing practice]
"Neither of us could say what we really felt, so all we could do was be grateful we'd met again."
Seven years ago, Jian You was threatened with a kissing photo by his "suitor." To keep this from affecting the younger brother he had supposedly taken in, he was forced to break up with Jian Wu and go to Fairbury to continue psychiatric treatment. He was transferred to England along the way, and once they parted, years passed.
After waking up, he returned to that seaside city with a friend by his side. Everything felt familiar, and everything was lovely.
Including the young man he unexpectedly met again after all these years.
Jian Wu took a step forward. His words held no trace of blame. "Long time no see."
With tears in his eyes, Jian You quietly agreed to his request. "Just long time no see."
[I'm trying to find my way back to a modern writing style. This is a contemporary romance writing exercise.]
P.S. They are not blood-related, they are not blood-related, they are not blood-related... I'll say it three times because it's important. Jinjiang won't let me write blood-related brothers either.
They're adoptive brothers, not biologically related.
Jian Wu x Jian You
The characters' birthdays are set like this:
The protagonist's birthday is the date I started writing, and the love interest's is the date I finished. I do this for all my stories.
Jian You: June 8
Jian Wu: September 1
Message: Be happy every day
The teacher has changed the cover [Spread flowers] It looks good 💪
Slow work brings out fine work, I write slowly. Don't pursue daily updates
