The player is playing a newly released immersive life-simulation game.
In the first playthrough, the player's talent is astonishing. They breeze through the maps for every side quest and earn the respect of countless NPCs. But the player, who has always chased thrills, soon gets bored and decides to start a new account.
And so the player begins the second playthrough: Hard Mode.
After logging back into the game, the player becomes a crippled character card with a broken left leg. Despite having athletic talent that amazes everyone, they suffered an open fracture in their left shin in an accident and still can't do strenuous exercise.
But the game's ultimate goal is to become number one in sports.
The player is very pleased: Now this is more like it!
It's just a sports-anime side quest. Even with only one good leg, I'll speedrun it!
Tips:
1. Contains various twisted feelings. Since the first and second playthroughs use different character cards, the NPCs see them as two different people. This leads to misunderstandings such as ["My" obsession is with "myself"] and [Even with a broken leg, "I" must reach the national stage and defeat "myself"].
2. The new blurb was screenshotted and saved on May 2, 2026.
Please check out my other novel, which I'm updating alongside this one~
Blurb:
Is there anything scarier than failing even after restarting twelve times?
There is. There sure is.
That would be making a deeply introverted shut-in restart twelve times in a passionate sports anime, only to watch him return in spectacular defeat.
An gloomy extra who always squats in a corner gets approached for no apparent reason by an electronic voice. He has no choice but to use his fragile body and fragile mind to compete for the championship against a bunch of monsters from a sports anime.
After twelve restarts, he's the stepping stone on the way to the dark horse Karasuno, the perennial loser against powerhouse Inarizaki, the eternal runner-up beneath the many-time champions Itachiyama, the boring player barred from the prison, the rough diamond devoured by a black-haired guy with an M-shaped fringe who suddenly goes berserk, and a national team member whose team is overturned by Blue Lock...
Forget the so-called "Extra Character Makeover Plan." He has absolutely no chemistry with sports anime. That electronic voice never intended to let him clear the game.
Once Lu Ren realizes this, his mind, already as fragile as glass, finally shatters.
In a daze, he feels as if there's someone else inside his body.
*
Born after he is pushed to the brink, his second personality is a dark, twisted lunatic who sees victory as his very life. His favorite thing is to smile at the losers on the court and say, "You play this badly. What makes you think you deserve to stand here?"
So Lu Ren chooses to start over once again.
Wash your necks and wait, geniuses.
Restart number thirteen.
He's going to make the sports world run red with blood!
Tips:
1. One personality is a gloomy, socially anxious mushroom of an extra; the other is a cheerful, sharp-tongued, violent team captain~
Theme: Never give up.
[Covering face and laughing and crying] Such a novel name is so high and low that it tastes salty [Like]
Converted to artificial: no deafness
Kind-hearted Mina-san, since all the DDLs for the research report and pre-physical examination are piled up together in TAT, I'm taking a day off today and will update the two-in-one 😚😚😚 tomorrow (5.9)
[Gotou] It's so good to be young and fall asleep in the next second. When can this physical strength be increased?
[Chigua] Can players dig through trash cans?
It's such a familiar saying, like getting 100 draws for free when you go online.
Hahahahaha it's great to be young 🐶
Starting at zero frame, it's hard to guard against, grinding 🐶
