Synopsis

Upcoming: [Touken Ranbu: One Sword], a collection of stories. Each installment tells the story of one sword and a different person. They're all short, so come take a look!

Blurb:

Due to a forging mistake, Yagen Toushirou became the second Yagen Toushirou in his former Overseer's Honmaru. Ordered to sortie alone, he thought he would run out of spiritual energy and disappear. Instead, Kaki found him after transmigrating from two hundred years in the future.

At last, he had found the Overseer who was meant to be his. She was a timid girl who was afraid of pain, yet she vowed to protect him, a sword tsukumogami.

"General, even though there are countless worlds in the universe, and countless versions of me in every world, I hope that the one you see is only the me standing before you at this very moment, saying the words 'I love you.' Not some other identical-looking tsukumogami. No matter how alike they may be, they aren't me.

"She is my Wushan and Canghai. Whether I am a sword or a tsukumogami, whether she lives or dies, I can only belong to her. No one else."

Touken Ranbu Reading Notes

Spoiler warning. Five stars means it’s especially good and I’ll reread it. Four stars means I could finish it, but it has obvious flaws. Three stars means I couldn’t keep reading.
