After leaving the infinite worlds, Luo Li discovered that her original world had already collapsed. To make it up to her, the Lord God sent her at random to a parallel world to enjoy her retirement.
She had only just settled in when a fox that could speak invited her to become a Saniwa. The job came with generous benefits and a whole host of handsome, long-lived men devoted to protecting their master.
Considering that this world's version of her was all alone, Luo Li agreed.
But when she arrived at the Time Government, ready to start work and take over a new Honmaru, another Fox Suke rushed over, threw its arms around her leg, and sobbed that she had finally come back. Everyone in the Honmaru had been waiting for her for ten years.
Only then did Luo Li learn that the game she'd played before being sent into the infinite worlds had actually become real. Its characters weren't just data. They were real, living Tsukumogami who truly lived in the Honmaru.
In other words, the swords in her Honmaru had waited ten years for her, while she couldn't even remember what they looked like.
Luo Li: A conscience that doesn't exist gave a little twinge.
--
Honmaru A717 had finally welcomed its master home after ten years.
Even if their master had forgotten them and had nearly abandoned them to take over a new Honmaru, they would pretend not to mind.
It was enough that she had come back. It was enough that they could start over.
They would wait for her forever and ever and ever.
Before you read:
This is an if-line of the full-time Luo Li story next door. You can read this without having read that one. The setting has been changed, and these are two independent stories.
The Saniwa is a 180 cm tall beauty with tattooed arms who dresses like a man and gets mistaken for a handsome guy quite often.
The Saniwa's worldview has gotten pretty strange after spending so long in the infinite worlds. The swords have waited ten years for her, but for her, it's actually been longer than that.
At first, the Honmaru only has the swords available at launch. New swords will be added gradually later on.
The older swords are a little unhinged, but they're all good kids.
There's a little crossover with other anime, but the book is mostly about everyday life in the Honmaru, with a light, cheerful feel.
No side CPs. The swords all have one-sided crushes on the Saniwa. The CP hasn't been decided.
