Dangerous Species, Keep Your Distance

Blurb:

Shen Yue watched the people around him undergo bioweapon-induced mutations after a nuclear blast, turning into dangerous species and being slaughtered one by one by awakened ability users.

He quietly hid his tail.

-

At first, he was just an ordinary human.

As the infection gradually took hold, he found himself unable to resist his animal instincts, climbing into the room next door.

-

"Reporting in: We've apprehended a mutant. Scans show his internal readings are off the charts. He's classified as an S+ dangerous species."

The mutant, locked in a cage, huddled in the corner and trembled slightly, like a frightened little pet.

Wan Qixing put his decontamination weapon back in its holster and stepped forward to verify the situation.

A squad member warned him, "Sir, he's a dangerous species. Please keep your distance."

Wan Qixing reached through the bars, lifted the captive's chin, and raised a face that looked utterly harmless.

It overlapped with the one he'd seen through those unforgettable days and nights.

Tsk.

He really was dangerous.
