After drifting through the universe for centuries in search of a new home, the starship fleet finally receives a message: This is Earth, a planet with habitable conditions! The message includes precise coordinates.

The fleet soon sends a team down to the planet, but more than ten years pass without their return. Meanwhile, reports begin to emerge aboard the ships that energy on the parallel Earth has changed, monsters are everywhere, and the inhabitants are commonly known as "the infected."
