Is It Illegal to Force-Kiss a Police Officer? No!

If I couldn't resist kissing a police officer twice, would that count as assaulting an officer?

Usually not. Assaulting an officer is defined as suddenly physically attacking a people's police officer or auxiliary officer who is carrying out official duties, using violence to obstruct an investigation or the gathering of evidence, and similar acts.

According to Article 277 of the Criminal Law, anyone who violently assaults a people's police officer who is lawfully performing official duties shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention, or public surveillance. If firearms, controlled knives, or other means such as ramming with a motor vehicle are used to seriously endanger the officer's personal safety, the sentence shall be fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years and not more than seven years.

As long as your lips aren't hard enough to count as a weapon and knock the officer to the ground, it's probably nothing. But if you keep kissing them and seriously disrupt their work, you could be arrested for obstructing official duties and might face ten to fifteen days of administrative detention.
