Officer Hagiwara says he felt an instant kinship with the curly-haired guy he happened to pass by.
"Really? I don't buy it," his blue-eyed fellow recruit said gently.
"Maybe the customs are different, but we don't usually call that 'love at first sight.'"
The ever-enthusiastic and dependable class representative patted his shoulder and laughed heartily. "Don't be embarrassed about this kind of thing. We'll all help you."
"A lawless criminal, a dangerous man. But if you insist..." The blond, dark-skinned top student furrowed his brow, speaking seriously and solemnly. "Once he's caught, I'll apply for long-term conjugal visitation rights for you."
"I told you, it was just an instant kinship! It's not like what you're thinking!" Kenji Hagiwara, who could usually handle anything with ease, was at a loss for words for the first time.
Even though his heart raced and he lost control of himself whenever he saw him, even though he wished they could be together without the slightest distance between them, even though he felt an inexplicable possessiveness toward him, even though he wanted to become the person closest to him...
Even so, even then, this isn't love!
Jinpei and I have a pure and untainted friendship!
What? You've already decided to wear a white wedding kimono at the ceremony?
Kenji Hagiwara, his face bright red: "I said there's no such thing!
Jinpei, save Hagi!"
The curly-haired guy passing by: Ah, whatever. Just don't expect me to wear one.
When first we met, it felt as if an old friend had come home.
Are you the curly-haired teddy bear I loved most, the one I lost without ever knowing it?
Brilliant, charming, blessed with a loving family and surrounded by wonderful friends, twenty-two-year-old Kenji Hagiwara had a life that was smooth sailing, almost perfect.
Contrary to his reputation for being easygoing and popular, he wasn't actually all that easy to get close to. A polite social distance and lively but fleeting get-togethers were his most familiar way of making friends.
He could effortlessly get along with everyone around him. His contacts were always overflowing, but he never treated anyone as special.
Even with the few like-minded friends he'd met at the police academy, the ones he'd laughed and joked with, he maintained an intimate yet measured distance.
Please forgive him. He wasn't some villain who seemed sweet but was bitter inside, or who hid a knife behind a smile.
It was just... just a habit.
There are no two identical leaves in the world. If he had never met anyone who truly clicked with him, that wasn't his fault, was it?
Until he saw that person.
Until he saw that person.
A biting wind surged from the hollow at the depths of his soul, wrenching him from his peaceful, happy life and sweeping him into an incomprehensible, obsessive longing.
At first sight of that person, a clamorous desire with no apparent cause overwhelmed him.
I should know him. I should be close to him. I should... have him.
I should have him.
I should have him.
Unprecedented, immense and complicated feelings swept him away, and the other end of that thread was tied to the shadow of someone he had never met.
He is the dear friend I was meant to have.
He is the other half of my lost soul.
I miss you. I need you. I love you.
Kenji Hagiwara should have Jinpei Matsuda.
Jinpei Matsuda should have Kenji Hagiwara.
This is about a lonely Hagi with no childhood friend and a reborn Matsuda who grew up in the Black Organization.
Dual perspectives, Hagi-Matsu or Matsu-Hagi, no fixed preference. Read them however you like; the author doesn't mind.
Hagi is not reborn, does not transmigrate, and does not have any non-Detective Conan golden finger. He doesn't remember his past life, but has a special sense of friendship toward Matsuda. It might sound like an excuse, but at first it really is just pure friendship.
Matsuda is reborn and has a System, but no non-Detective Conan golden finger either. The System is just a decoration and won't do much besides chat. Its main purpose is to keep Matsuda mentally stable. After all, it's already miserable enough that I threw him into the Black Organization, so I hope things go a little easier for him.
I hope I can write the transformation of friendship into something more well.
P.S. In the main story, neither Hagi nor Matsuda will join the bomb disposal unit. Let's take a moment of silence for the superior who lost his twin stars.
I wanted to indulge in a bit of delicious angst, so I invited these two male leads. I apologize for all the added suffering and separation. Any out-of-character behavior and broken logic are on me; their happiness belongs to them.
At first, I wanted to write the push and pull of their romantic relationship, but I filled in lots of other things while outlining. I'm not sure whether the plot will take flight, but I'll do my best to make it hold together.
Scenes I've already decided to include: a Haidilao rescue, a Black Organization reunion, test subjects who aren't major characters, fabricated claims about who is a true or fake member of the organization, rumors, brainwashing, and possibly amnesia.
In the ending, everyone will regain their memories of their previous lives and remain friends. No one will be missing.
Theme: A life without a childhood friend has no value!
When I saw the small theater, the audio started playing in my heart. It felt like déjà vu, hhh
I felt like I was about to fall into the bottom of a pit (I was excited to read the copy but was horrified to find the word count version)
The system actually came to the conclusion that Matsuda is a fake 😂😂

I can't do it anymore... This is too cute, I can directly invest vertically
Aren't wineries named after the wine rather than the brand? According to the original method, it should be single malt whiskey (Lagavulin variety)
Passing by, what is this rice, take a bite, fragrant rice, take a big bite 💪
The copywriting is so good. I followed it from the forum. I'll be patient and wait for the update 💪
