[Call of Duty] Betrayal

Call of Duty second-person reader-insert romance.

The opening borrows the plot of Sicario. Around chapter 29, some of the plot from Land of Bad is used.

----Military woman YN starts out as a private first class. This is a coming-of-age story, as she transforms from a naive person who sees the world in black and white into a predator, and eventually finds redemption. As the title suggests, it's a story of betrayal and love.

People are complicated. A single sentence or a few tags can't sum them up. I don't want this story to be stigmatized or dismissed with a crude label. I hope readers can think for themselves instead of letting their brains revolve solely around romantic relationships.

CP: Mainly the classic trio, Ghost, Keegan, and Konig. I'll include others where I can, including Krueger and Nikto.

[Krueger and Bear appear very late, after chapter 90. Bear has very little screen time.]

I want to write something closer to reality, so I've done some research on military topics. The romance will also develop slowly.

Secondary characters die.

Regarding character portrayals, Ghost is a combination of the new and old versions of the character. (If you prefer to keep the two Ghosts separate, this may not be for you.)

Krueger's portrayal leans toward his original official characterization. He really has committed murder and is not a good person.

A word of warning: There are sweet moments, but also angst, and it will get very angsty.

To avoid any confusion, I'll emphasize again that this story gets angsty, and the later chapters will have dark themes. Readers with a low tolerance for sensitive content, take care.
