After Losing Her Memory, the Grand Princess Became the Capital's Beloved Moonlight

Next novel's blurb: The Madam Has Picked Up Another Man

Chunshuang finds a man on the riverbank, barely clinging to life, and carefully nurses him back to health.

The man is gentle and handsome, caring and attentive toward her.

Chunshuang marries him.

One rainy night, the man leaves without a word. Overnight, Chunshuang loses her husband, and the capital gains a Prince Regent.

When Pei Zhiyu hears that Chunshuang died in a fire, he doesn't show much grief. They were husband and wife for only a few nights, after all.

That is, until his famous friend comes to the capital with his wife. Pei Zhiyu looks at the woman before him and asks coolly, "Brother, how did you meet your wife?"

His friend says, "I was badly injured, and Madam found me and carefully nursed me back to health. That's how I fell for her."

Pei Zhiyu laughs coldly to himself. "Oh, badly injured again, and picked up and taken home?"

This novel's blurb

Chu Moxun saves the siblings Song Ziyun and her younger brother in their moment of danger, helps her little brother ascend the throne, and from then on, this refined and principled Chief Minister becomes the sharpest blade in the imperial city, protecting her and her brother while firmly holding her heart in his hands.

Song Ziyun has lost count of how many times she has taken wine and gone to the Chu residence under the pretext of discussing state affairs, seeking guidance late into the night. But the man always replies with respectful distance, "Your Highness is drunk."

No one knows that every night, after finishing his memorials, Chu Moxun sits lost in thought, gazing at Song Ziyun's vermilion annotations.

Song Ziyun's heart grows cold. She can pursue Chu Moxun, or she can find someone else.

The top scholar is aloof and distinguished, his features strikingly like Chu Moxun's. So she sends him piles of antiques and calligraphy and paintings every day, frightening him so badly that he keeps his doors shut and refuses to see her.

The Northern Warden General, who commands a great army, is broad and powerful, with the decisive bearing of a chief minister. She acts delicate, but still can't win his favor.

Fine, none of them likes her!

Then one day, Song Ziyun falls off a cliff.

The good news: she is rescued.

The bad news: she has lost her memory.

When they learn she remembers nothing of her past and the emperor is arranging a selection of prospective husbands for her, the distinguished top scholar and the powerful Northern Warden General can no longer sit still. They rush to the palace with tokens of love gifted to them by the eldest princess and ask the young emperor for her hand in marriage. Terrified, she turns and hides in Chu Moxun's residence.

Chu Moxun pins her against a bookshelf. "Rest assured, Your Highness. With me here, neither of them will dare behave out of line. You may stay as long as you like."
