"I have only one wish. Every one of my senses longs to make it come true... to reach that radiant world and be with her forever."
- Wuthering Heights

Fu Wangsheng is one of the world's finest snipers, yet the international covert agency Shadow has rejected him again and again.
Shadow's deputy director, "Death," Pu Siyuan, tells him, "You have too much bloodlust. You know how to kill, but not how to save the world."
Fu Wangsheng has no argument. Wherever he goes, no one survives. That is, until the day he breaks his rule for a woman named Du Meng.
She has just come out of the shower, wearing a spotless white dress. Seeing him and the blood and chaos scattered throughout the room, she doesn't even look up. She simply says, "Please take care of my fiance's body. I'm a neat freak."
Later, they run into each other several more times. Every encounter is almost exactly like the first.
Only then does Fu Wangsheng learn that the woman has a nickname: the "White Widow." They say she was born to be a widow, and that everyone around her dies, especially the people who share her bed.
One night, while chatting over drinks, he tells her, "Look how ironic it is. I kill without mercy, yet my name means helping people pass on to the next life."
She raises her glass to him. "Is that more ironic than my name? A dream guide is supposed to help people make their dreams come true, yet all I do is leave the dead in pieces."
He proposes in a husky voice, "Maybe opposites attract. How about we try canceling each other out?"
She winks at him. "Aren't you afraid to die?"
He smiles and lowers his head to kiss her. "I'm already in hell. How could I possibly be afraid of death?"
It is not until later that the "Underworld King," feared by the world, realizes just how wrong he was. He, too, can fear death, because once he dies, he will never again be able to lose himself in the beautiful dream he loves.
"I burned every virtue and every god, just to see your eyes again in the ashes."
Their love is battered and broken, yet it transcends death.
Life is a fleeting dream. I'll guide you to your next life.
