The Dark Sentinels had been created as weapons of the state. Their names were taboo, and they hated everyone who tried to control them.

The eerie voice inside them urged them to destroy everything beautiful, to ruin the smile that drew everyone to her.

If only...

She would look at him alone.

Jiang Zhi was busy counting her little pile of cash in the room and didn’t notice the blatant looks from the sentinels behind her, their eyes warped by pollution, dark and burning.

They pinned Jiang Zhi against the wall, their eyes heavy with desire. “You’re done counting, Zhizhi. Does that mean it’s my turn now?”

Jiang Zhi had been exploiting free labor and accidentally provoked a bunch of pure-love psychos. “Wait, can I still grab the money and run?”
