The Villain Reborn as the Pathetic Junior Brother of the Dragon-Pride Protagonist

Xuan Zhe is a notorious demonic cultivator in the cultivation world, his appearance utterly destroyed.

After an accident, he learns that he's the vicious villain in a storybook. Worst of all, his fate is nearly exhausted, and he has little time left.

To change his fate, Xuan Zhe risks defying Heaven to prolong his life.

But when he wakes, it's as if time has turned back: he's become the pitiful sixteen-year-old he was before his disfigurement.

Yet the cultivation he'd painstakingly built over more than a decade has vanished without a trace.

What's more, he gets picked up by his lifelong archenemy, Qi Changmo, the storybook's chosen one, and taken in as his junior martial brother.

Qi Changmo had urged him countless times to give up evil and return to the right path, but Xuan Zhe had always coldly refused. His rival never gave up, and even stopped every single one of Xuan Zhe's attempts to do evil.

Xuan Zhe hates him so much his teeth ache, and swears to take this opportunity to get revenge on Qi Changmo.

Now that he's become the junior martial brother, Xuan Zhe secretly plots revenge against Qi Changmo and the foolish senior brothers and sisters in his sect, all competing to take care of their junior.

He poisons them, but they all think he discovered that someone had spiked the tea in advance.

He sabotages their spirit-beast-catching formation, but they all think he found another great opportunity.

He tries to kill them, but they all think he's seen through an illusion and that "killing" them is his way of saving them.

In the end, Xuan Zhe, who only ever meant to harm people, becomes the sect's beloved, pitiful little junior brother.

Second Senior Brother refines top-grade pills for him.

Third Senior Sister makes him top-tier armor.

Fourth Senior Brother gives him his family's elders' token.

Xuan Zhe: I just want to be a vicious villain. Why is that so hard? (Freaking out)

But soon, while Xuan Zhe is desperately hiding from everyone searching for him, a pair of strong arms pulls him into a shadowy corner. Hot breath brushes the back of his neck. The voice that has always been upright and forthright is now restrained and hoarse, laced with unbearable pain:

"Little Fifth, I found you first. You're mine. Please don't smile at them..."
