A Banker's Guide to Staying Alive in the Apocalypse

A zombie outbreak starts while an overworked bank employee is working overtime. Don't panic. Just shout, "I've been waiting for this day!" and let yourself go.

You can say all that in your head, of course. A timid office worker still has to figure out how to stay alive.

Think about it: a bank seems like a good place to survive the apocalypse. The doors are sturdy, there's an alarm system and a generator, and they've stocked plenty of food for overtime. If nothing goes wrong, you should be able to stay alive for a while. The question is, how long is "a while"?

Xia Qing, figuring she would take it one day at a time and treat it as a survival challenge, begins her struggle to survive the apocalypse with a naive new employee in tow.

But why, while there's still a signal and she's messaging her family and friends, does she suddenly get in touch with that guy?
