[Slam Dunk/Hanafuji] HANA·hana

Sapporo in summer smells like flowers, Hanagata said to Fujima with a smile as soon as they set foot on this land. Kanagawa has deep greens and deep blues, but Hokkaido's colors are so dazzling they make you dizzy, like paint squeezed straight from watercolor tubes and spread directly across a canvas, pure and unmixed. Wasn't it supposed to be white? Fujima thought for a moment, picturing a snowy landscape. But it's summer now. What a shame, Hanagata. We're here to compete. Or you could ask the school to arrange a trip around Hokkaido? If we conquer the nation, maybe we'll get a one-day trip to Sapporo. That's about all I expect from this school. We could just go ourselves. After the competition, let's visit Mount Moiwa. It's not far from here, in Chuo Ward, is it? The guide says it's open until 10 p.m. this time of year. Honestly, you... But if I'm with you, Fujima, I can probably get away with coming back late. I'd love to see the helpless look on Mr. Kawamura's face. I was thinking the same thing, so it's a deal. Don't spend the whole time crying and forget all about it when the time comes. Theme:
