After I Abandoned All the SSRs I'd Collected

Yu Xingzhu was a genius young founder who developed the globally popular game [Starfield Divinity], but he was a sickly person who had relied on a ventilator since birth.

People praised his immense talent while lamenting that he had so little time left to live.

At last, on the brink of death, Yu Xingzhu clicked to abandon every SSR character he had painstakingly collected in [Starfield Divinity].

He was going to die anyway. Why make the paper characters spend their whole lives bound to someone who would never log in again?

-

That was what he thought.

Until he opened his eyes again and discovered that not only was he still alive, he had also become an NPC in [Starfield Divinity], sentenced to death for treason.

The good news: he could see his paper characters with his own eyes.

The bad news: his reasons for abandoning the SSR characters had been one worse than the next.

-

For example:

"I only picked up some filthy thing. Don't flatter yourself that you're a person."

"Give you a little candy and you wag your tail like crazy. You're as annoying to look at as a dog."

"I'll admit you did a good job as a plaything, but I'm getting a little bored."

Things had gone to hell from the start. He might as well have died.

Reading guide: All the other SSR characters feel only familial affection for the uke. Only the seme has ulterior motives (nods). The Fourth Calamity storyline begins midway through.

[Next Novel] "After the Villain Logs Off, His Canary Goes Mad [Infinite]"

Lin Shen has a secret: he was once the only person to clear the Infinite Flow world. Exhausted, he sold himself to the book's villain to be his canary.

A canary doesn't need to work or think. He just needs to sit back and have food and clothes brought to him, with a CEO there to wait on him every night.

But lately, he has started to think his sugar daddy has lost interest in him.

-

Qin Yingfeng stood his wife up for the Nth time.

But it wasn't intentional. He had been inexplicably dragged into an Infinite world and had to clear it to make it back alive.

He thought his wife would die of heartbreak before he did, so he plucked up the courage to call her. "Hey, honey, there's actually something I want to tell you. I've been dragged into an Infinite wo..." Beep, beep, beep...

System: [New instance unlocked]

Qin Yingfeng stared at his phone with no signal, his mind filled with two words.

It's over.

-

Lin Shen looked down at the call that had ended, his expression thoughtful.

#What should a canary do if his sugar daddy dies?#

Answer: Find a new sugar daddy.

#But what if none of the others are as appealing as the last one?#

Answer: Just make sure the sugar daddy doesn't die.
