During the summer after the college entrance exams, the childhood friend she had a crush on threw a party.
They hadn't seen each other in years, and the other guests were all strangers. Luo Qingqing was afraid it would be too awkward to go alone, so she dressed up carefully, carrying the secrets of a young girl's heart, and invited a classmate and friend to come with her.
The party was dimly lit. The boys and girls sat together playing flirtatious games. Li Chengyu looked over from the smoke-filled crowd with a cigarette between his lips, then came over to greet them.
His eyes lingered on her friend. He smiled and took the cigarette from his mouth. His roguish face made him look both flirtatious and a little wicked.
