From the male lead's perspective:

For fifteen years, life had gone smoothly for him, and he naively thought that was just how life worked.

Until one day, a man calling himself Xiao Wenqiao appeared.

A rebel, a criminal, a man with the blood of others on his hands, a man devoid of normal emotions, a man willing to give his life to an uprising, a man who had destroyed his family...

His only family.

Brought from the mountains to the prince's residence, Xiao Xunhe thinks he's going mad.

"Don't go mad just yet," a voice says in his dream.

"You aren't alone. There are others here just like you."

[In short, this is a story about many people, revenge, the struggle for the throne, rebellion, imperial power, and the tangled loves and hatreds of humanity.]

Tips:

1. An ensemble cast. The point-of-view shifts instead of sticking with one main character.

2. The male lead has little to do early on. If you especially enjoy the romance, please be patient.

3. A wide range of character types, and plenty of content to sink your teeth into.

4. Updates have slowed.

Theme: Be a good person first, and never forget your roots
