Brilliant, gentle theater director × shy, love-struck band frontman
A sweet little bedtime story
Today is the day of Yuanyi's first play as a director.
But just before they go onstage, one of the young actors tells her that they forgot the belt that goes with their costume.
In the confusion, the props manager tells her there's a spare in their bag, but the bag is in the audience, where they left it to save a seat for their roommate.
With no other choice, Yuanyi makes her way through the dark to the audience and finds the roommate in the seat number the props manager gave her.
This is where she first meets Jiang Tingzhou.
The young man's shoulder-length hair curls slightly at the ends, and the silver hoop in his left ear catches the light now and then in the dim venue. He glances over through his peach-blossom eyes, his gaze calm and cool.
What Yuanyi doesn't know is that she's about to win herself a clingy, long-haired puppy of a boyfriend with a serious case of lovesickness.
