[Frequent revisions. Thank you for supporting the official release.] [This story is entirely fictional, with no real-life models whatsoever.] [Coming soon: After Divorcing a Top-Tier Star]
Shen Yu is a top-tier star at the height of her fame. Her elegance and beauty go without saying, but just as much a part of her public image as her formidable professional skills is her unchanging, forced smile for the cameras.
One day, a photography blogger posted a set of event photos they had been invited to take. In these pictures, Shen Yu had finally dropped that same old camera-ready smile and faced the lens with a cool, detached expression.
Everyone was baffled, while her haters rejoiced. That night, the trending topic “Shen Yu’s cold expression at the event. Congratulations on ditching the fake smile” shot to the top of the charts, and fans of all kinds descended on the discussion page, making a chaotic mess of it.
The next morning, when Wen Xi woke up and saw the flood of new notifications on Weibo, she remained unfazed. But when she discovered that Shen Yu had been dragged through the mud on the trending topics because of her, her pupils contracted.
How... could this happen?
Hardly anyone knew that the famous star Shen Yu was her ex-girlfriend.
Wen Xi had been the one to end things. She had started a relationship and abandoned Shen Yu, then disappeared without a word.
The day they broke up was the day of Shen Yu’s nationwide arts entrance exam. Wen Xi hadn’t dared to break up with her face-to-face, so she had only taken a card from a bouquet and secretly written, “Let’s break up.”
After that, she avoided Shen Yu for ten years. But now, it seemed... she couldn’t avoid her anymore.
It was her fault, too. Last night, with alcohol clouding her judgment, she’d posted that photo of Shen Yu’s cold expression without thinking it through. She’d done it because she wanted to indulge the wish she’d kept hidden in her heart for far too long.
Ten years was a long time. She missed Shen Yu so much. She had only thought that posting the photo would make her happy. She hadn’t expected it to land on the trending topics and expose her completely.
She was now in Shen Yu’s line of sight.
Shen Yu’s cold expression was naturally because she’d spotted the ex-girlfriend who had abandoned her at the event.
The breakup had come so suddenly that by the time Shen Yu opened the card, Wen Xi had already deleted all her contact information and shut down all her social media accounts. She had even transferred schools during the crucial final year of high school, and hadn’t gone to take the art entrance exam either.
For a while, Shen Yu had no news of Wen Xi at all, as though Wen Xi had never been part of her world.
When they met again, Wen Xi had a camera in hand, intently photographing the stars walking the red carpet in front of her. Shen Yu watched as Wen Xi smiled and exchanged greetings with the other stars. She could no longer keep up her unchanging camera-ready smile.
That night, when Shen Yu saw the trending topic, it was the first time she’d laughed because people were attacking her.
Ten years. She’d finally caught her.
It was only much later that Wen Xi learned that people who looked dazzling onstage were not necessarily the same behind the scenes.
With extraordinary acting skills, Shen Yu played the role of a normal person in her everyday life.
No one knew what she was like in private, except Wen Xi.
At night, Shen Yu would wrap her arms around Wen Xi’s waist and bury her face against the back of her neck. “What are you running from? You can’t get away. Baby, you can only be with me for the rest of your life.”
Her words were full of menace, yet hot, burning tears kept falling onto Wen Xi.
Wen Xi said, “I’m not running away. We’ll be together for the rest of our lives.”
[Both are sexually and romantically devoted only to each other.] [Shen Yu (top) x Wen Xi (bottom)] [This first book isn’t all that good, so I don’t recommend buying the whole thing at once.]
[Content warnings:
1. May contain some old-school romance tropes and a little melodrama, since the school years were ten years ago (or so the author tries to claim).
2. There is an important female supporting character with a strong one-sided crush on the bottom, but the bottom rejected her clearly a long time ago.
3. It may not be very sweet. I wrote this as a change of pace and included things I enjoy. It isn’t very long, but the two leads are very sweet together! Super sweet! (The author nods.)
4. There’s a reason the leads were apart. They both love each other very much!
5. Includes a slight everyone-loves-the-protagonist element.
6. The setting leans somewhat realistic.
7. The bottom is weak and insecure at first, but grows and gets better later on.]
Coming soon: After Divorcing a Top-Tier Star
[The whole story is rather bittersweet. It shouldn’t be very long, and it has a happy ending.]
Yun He Ran loved Qi Yi very much.
They went from dating online to meeting in person, then registered their marriage at twenty-one. They held a small wedding back when nobody in the entertainment industry had even heard of Qi Yi.
They had flirted, been passionately in love, and whispered “I love you” into each other’s ears again and again.
Still, they couldn’t make it through the seven-year itch or the long stretches of living apart.
The vast, silent rooms that were always empty, the endless speculation from colleagues behind her back, messages that went unanswered, and daytime calls that were always picked up by Qi Yi’s assistant...
Yun He Ran suddenly no longer knew what the point of being married was.
During the honeymoon phase, Yun He Ran had always had plenty to talk about with Qi Yi. Now, she didn’t even know what she could say to her.
Yun He Ran had always been passive when it came to socializing. It was only after meeting Qi Yi that she had been willing to take the initiative, because she loved her so much.
But now they were both busy, and by the end of the day, they had barely spoken.
Some people might think Yun He Ran was ungrateful. Qi Yi had made so much money, and their home had gone from a few hundred square feet to a three-story villa. What could possibly be worth divorcing over?
But Yun He Ran was willing to walk away with nothing. She didn’t want a thing.
She had the divorce agreement ready and was just waiting for Qi Yi to come home.
Everyone online knew that Qi Yi was married, and her spouse had been so well protected that no one knew who she was.
But, unexpectedly, the reason Qi Yi’s marriage was trending again was that paparazzi had photographed the two of them entering and leaving the civil affairs bureau.
Even after they had registered their divorce, Qi Yi shielded her ex-wife in her arms in front of the paparazzi’s cameras, not letting them capture her face.
When Yun He Ran saw the trending topic, she remembered what Qi Yi had said to her that day.
The usually composed woman’s lashes quivered slightly as she asked in a quiet voice, “Could you hold me one more time?”
[Reader’s guide:
1. Both are devoted exclusively to each other, one-on-one romance, in a setting where same-sex marriage is legal.
2. They are each other’s first love. Their relationship is full of bumps and stumbles, and includes a little chasing-after-the-wife. Please don’t leave comments insulting the leads. They’re both good girls.
3. If you’ve fallen out of love, know when to cut your losses.
4. No real-life models.]

It's very beautiful. I'm older and can't read pornography.
Why do you still need to see Zhuang alone at this time? Isn't this obviously irritating her?
