Help! I Know Too Much [Period]

After overcoming countless obstacles, Chen Qian landed a police job. She strode forward with her head held high, dreaming of becoming a beacon of justice.

In reality, on her first day at work, Chen Qian was counseling Granny Chen, who'd gotten into a fight with her husband.

“It's so cold, and he only lasts two minutes. Was I wrong not to take off my padded pants? He's so old and still has no shame. He deserved a beating!”

“Yes, yes... Oh, no, that's not what I mean. Well, you know, a harmonious family brings prosperity. It's cold, so drink some hot water.”

On her second day at work, Chen Qian took a report from someone who said there was a person under his bed and suspected a break-in.

She rushed to the scene and discovered the “burglar” was the complainant's son's young girlfriend. The teenage couple were afraid of getting caught dating, so they'd hidden in a panic.

On her third day at work, she joined an anti-pornography operation, thinking she'd finally get to take on a big case. Who knew she'd end up holding her nose while helping someone find their shirt and socks?

Day after day, the dashing female detective disappeared, replaced by another nosy bystander with goji berries steeping in her thermos. But who says a bystander can't solve a major case? The crime-fighting Chaoyang locals blow away the tea leaves and keep their good deeds to themselves.
