The protagonist sneaks into a laboratory at night and nearly gets his head blown off by Celestial Dragon Number One, who is refined and elegant by day.
Seeing that the protagonist is in mortal danger, Jiang Xingchu, woken in the middle of the night by the System's wailing, rushes out and kicks Number One flying.
Unexpectedly, Number One gets up, clutching his bleeding head, and says with a smile, "Oh, Xingchu, are you interested in the new drug too? Once you become an omega, you'll taste delicious."
Jiang Xingchu: What the hell? This guy's insane. He wants to eat people!
The protagonist accidentally ends up at Love Interest Number Two's house and is nearly beaten half to death. Jiang Xingchu strikes back, sending Number Two flying with one punch.
Who knew Number Two would look up after stumbling to the ground and say, "I was wrong, Chuchu. I shouldn't have hit him. Only you can control us."
Jiang Xingchu: Hmph, he thinks I don't know he's using code words to call for backup?!
The protagonist gets trapped in some club, his life hanging in the balance. Jiang Xingchu smashes through a window, launches a flying side kick at Love Interest Number Three, who is out having fun, then lands steadily.
Clutching his cheek, Number Three gives him a suggestive smile. "Do you want to join us? The options here are lousy. Let's go to another room. You can have as many people as you want."
Jiang Xingchu: Options? What options? I'm reporting this! This guy must be up to something shady!
Compared to these three, Jiang Xingchu feels that Love Interest Number Four, who is always saying bizarre things to him, isn't quite so abnormal after all.
One day, the System finally manages to contact headquarters. It suddenly says to Jiang Xingchu nervously, "Xiaochu, I loaded the wrong thing earlier. This isn't a romance novel world, it's a revenge-and-angst novel..."
