Jiang Jin, a cold beauty with a warm heart, thought his high school life would be nothing but practice problems, art school exams, and worrying about his mother's illness, until a "top student who slacks off" named Cheng Yue transferred into his class.
The guy could sleep through class and still score over 700. He stole Jiang Jin's bread, took the seat beside him, and even dared to lean in close to his icy face and say, "Jiang, wanna climb the wall with me and get hot pot?"
Jiang Jin only wanted to bury him in practice problems. But when Cheng Yue smiled and helped him dodge trouble, and quietly memorized his likes and dislikes, Jiang Jin discovered that this "crazy flower" showed his gentle side only to him.
He thought he had already fallen under the spell of that midsummer, but someone was still there to help him escape and rush toward a future full of possibilities.
Two top students × school-life redemption × sunny, straightforward seme × cool, fragile uke, with the seme older than the uke. Happy ending.
