The Disdained Adele

Adele was rescued by a party on its way to defeat the Demon King during a witch hunt.

She packed her things and chased after them, but couldn't catch up. She joined another party instead, thinking that sooner or later, she would get the chance to meet the Demon King's army-slaying party.

With no magic or killing moves of her own, all she could do was help out and take care of daily life. The other members didn't like her. During the final battle, everyone who carried magic was bewitched by miasma and began slaughtering one another. She threw herself between them, took a blow for them, and used her own flesh and blood to break through the formation.

The Goddess of Light gave her a chance to come back to life, and she was reborn at an academy.

When her life lamp lit up again, her former companions, each now a legend of the age, had all gone mad and were searching for her, turning over every stone.

Faced with a steady stream of visitors, holy knights, warriors, elves, mages, assassins, killers, unicorns, and dragons, there was only one thing she had to do: keep her secret identity under wraps and never get caught up in that mess again.
