My Reborn Mom Wants Me to Be a Rich Second-Generation Kid [The 1970s]

Xia Ling, the prettiest girl in the village, was bullied and neglected by her parents from childhood. As an adult, she married an educated youth who had come to the countryside. When she was heavily pregnant, he passed the university entrance exam and left. Everyone in the village sighed when they talked about her, saying she was truly unfortunate. She gritted her teeth and did her best to get by, but still struggled to keep herself and her child fed and clothed.

Just as fate was about to break her, a well-dressed middle-aged woman came looking for her. The moment they met, she hugged Xia Ling and wept, apologizing over and over. Then she brought Xia Ling and her son to the city. In an instant, they went from a muddy, earthen cottage in the countryside to an apartment in the city. They had fans in summer and heating in winter. Her son was sent to daycare, while she went to night school.

One day, when her mother came to pick him up, the little boy took her hand and said, "I saw Dad, but he didn't recognize me."

His mother looked at her, afraid she would be upset. She had always thought the man had abandoned her and their child. "It's okay, it's okay. Mom has started a company. I'll work hard and make you a rich kid."

The person her grandson had called Dad was the younger son of the Gu family. Could her daughter's former husband really be the Gu family's younger son? That coldhearted bastard had abandoned them while she was pregnant. She would have nothing more to do with him. With her experience from being reborn and the money her parents had left her, she would work hard and make her daughter a rich kid. They could do just as well without him.
