Two teachers from an expedition team brought a kitten named Baixue back from the forest. Its fur was snowy white and silky, its eyes like the world's most brilliant jewels, and it carried itself with an air of grandeur.
They only knew that Baixue had beaten every dog in the neighborhood.
They never imagined that Baixue was the leader of the Cat Cult.
Summer vacation arrived, and Baixue's human owners happily settled into their air-conditioned home to enjoy their honeymoon.
Baixue was not pleased.
Humans, are you trying to starve me by staying home instead of hunting?
So Baixue administered some necessary encouragement:
Knocking over plates, tipping over cups, sprinting around at full speed, and delivering a speech on how "humans mustn't slack off."
"Maybe it's time to get the cat neutered," the humans said.
The next day, a masked stranger appeared and snatched Baixue away!
The innocent kitten in the carrier cursed like crazy: "I told you to go out and get some exercise! Why didn't you listen to me, meow meow meow meow meow!!! Let me out, meow meow meow meow meow!!!"
When Baixue returned home, it was missing something.
The esteemed cult leader couldn't bear such humiliation. So Baixue resolutely ran away from home, to set an example for its humans.
The next evening, a little cat appeared at a plaza, running a stall.
"Catnip, cat grass, forsythia, honeysuckle... two yuan each!"
And so began the kitten's life of earning money to support its owners.
