Bai Dai is a spirit deer cultivating on Xiantai Mountain. Just after she finally managed to take human form, the mountain's master, Perfected Daoqing, sent her to the demon realm as an undercover agent.
She's a spirit deer who barely knows any magic, yet she's taken on an undercover mission of the highest difficulty.
Bai Dai says: "The pressure is immense."
But when she arrives in the demon realm, she discovers that this place isn't the demon realm at all. It's even more heavenly than the immortal realm!
Looking at the immortal herbs and spirit fruits everywhere, Bai Dai decides she doesn't want to go back.
But she still has a mission to complete, so she can only approach the demon lord, who is said to kill without blinking, with great trepidation.
And so begins her wonderful (?) life of eating immortal fruits while working undercover.
