***Prepublication notice: The novel "She Won't Take It Seriously Anymore" is available in my column (a bittersweet groveling romance).
Happy ending!! A super-sweet romance with mutual pining, bittersweet tension, and a second chance at love.
A storm was brewing in Blue City. News that the Chen family's heir, the true power behind the Deep Sea Group, was to marry into the Ji family caused an uproar.
Everyone was baffled.
Where had the Ji family come from? How had they managed to get aboard this enormous ship?
It was no wonder people were surprised. Even the Ji family themselves were puzzled.
Old Master Ji pounded his cane so hard it shook the heavens, but Ji Ru argued her case. Zhou Teng was her precious daughter, not a member of the Ji family. Using her to secure a business deal? No way!
But Zhou Teng stepped in front of Ji Ru and agreed to the marriage. "It's only a marriage. If it can help the Ji family, then it's worth it."
The man in the interview footage was handsome and sharp-featured. A reporter asked pointedly why he knew nothing about the woman in this marriage. Was it all a publicity stunt?
Facing the camera, the man said each word clearly: "We've been dating for years."
The TV switched off. Zhou Teng lowered her eyes and murmured to Ji Ru, "He's just... my ex."
At school, Zhou Teng was recommended by a teacher to take part in making a promotional video. After considerable effort, she found historical records dating the artifacts, only for the "reviewer" to declare the information inaccurate and demand revisions.
Zhou Teng asked if they had any sources to support their claim. The reply was, "Just change it the way I told you to."
Zhou Teng fell silent, seething. When someone asked her how the video review had gone, she couldn't stop herself from complaining: "The reviewer? That person's nuts!"
She hadn't noticed the expression on the face of the person across from her.
The next day, someone suddenly appeared in front of her.
Zhou Teng stared for a long time. A possibility came to mind, and she asked hesitantly, "Are you...?"
Chen Kong stepped past her and into the little shop. "I am."
That crazy reviewer.
Reader's guide
Happy ending, bittersweet and sweet, with a little angst that doesn't take away from the sweetness (please don't come after me).
1. Heroine Zhou Teng: Exceptionally oblivious, but with a fierce desire for revenge. She seems sweet and gentle, but if you cross her, she'll make you pay.
2. Hero Chen Kong: A possessive, fatherly boyfriend. He seems rational and objective, but is actually a gloomy, brooding ghost of a man.
3. Friendly reminder: The heroine is vengeful, and the hero is possessive. (Hmm... doesn't that count as both of them being strong?)
4. This is a short novel. The timeline goes from their reunion at the start (the first four chapters), to flashbacks, and then back to their reunion.

Blurb:
Eight years ago, Xie Ning went on her first mission and met someone.
They saw each other only briefly, yet she often thought of him in the years that followed.
Eight years later, she stared at the photo in a file and accepted the assignment.
He Chengfeng glanced at the secretary who had suddenly been assigned to him, pointed at the door, and said, "Turn left when you leave. Whoever arranged your hiring can arrange your resignation. Get out!"
But later, staring at the empty spot where she had been, he searched for her like a madman.
Theme: Unyielding
I don't understand the heroine a little. She said that she would retaliate, but she was extremely cowardly when things happened to her. Her work was robbed, and she was beaten up and scolded. She was scolded, ridiculed, and spread rumors. She was as calm as Ju, and she didn't even say "Forget it", "It doesn't matter", and "I'll leave it to you" in rebuttal. As soon as I came across something related to Chu Yuebai, I was so bombarded that no one could stop me today. I called whenever I called, broke into my house whenever I asked, poured water on me when I asked, and scolded my friends when they said they were scolded. I don't quite understand [loading][loading]
I really like this article. I think the author's characterization is excellent. I've read it several times. I don't know why it's not popular. No one cries. 😭 😭 😭

A parallel world that is happy in every sense [Spreading Flowers]
Lin Xunan gave birth to a baby?!
How is Shen Yixin's ending? Actually, I feel like she is not a very good person.
It's so exciting! Why is no one watching?!
It's so beautiful, why is there no one? 😚
