Unfortunately, it wasn't. Shuichi Akai, under the alias Subaru Okiya, and the inexplicably resurrected Amamiya Aya began living together peacefully at the Kudo house, until the day Amamiya Aya ran into Gin again...

"You like him that much?"

"Then what about me? What am I to you?"

Her lips were pinned shut, unable to answer.

During a mission, Gin ran into his childhood friend, whom he had personally killed. She had come back to life again, but that wasn't the point. The important thing was that she'd gotten herself a pink-haired boyfriend. Hadn't she said she was all about white hair? Gin was deeply disappointed. Just as he was lamenting his childhood friend's terrible taste, the pink-haired man holding her hand suddenly glanced at him for no apparent reason.

Gin, wearing a tacky hat, radiated such a chill that even Vodka kept his distance. If he could, he'd give the guy a delicious APTX4869 pill that would make him young again on the spot.

But it looked like APTX4869 wouldn't be needed. Gin's gun was once again pointed at Amamiya Aya's heart, but he looked past her at the gun pointed at him. Rye was standing right behind her.

"Amamiya Aya, you haven't fallen for him again, have you?"
