Fu Qing is reborn after an explosion in a laboratory, returning to the dawn of the apocalypse with a mysterious space that lets her seize other people's abilities. The black rose behind her ear never fades. It is a soul contract carved into her by the evil god Asta. The fragmented essence of a god is sealed inside her, and every ability she absorbs brings her closer to claiming that god's divine authority.
Amid ruins overrun by zombies and mutated beasts, a mysterious man calling himself You Ta always appears when all seems lost. He can awaken the remnants of an ancient battlefield buried underground, and the tattoo on his arm resonates strangely with Fu Qing's space. When Fu Qing discovers that high-level mutants all contain fragments of divine artifacts, she realizes that the so-called apocalyptic virus is actually divine blood, which polluted the mortal world when the gods fell.

They were a wager Asta made by tearing apart his divine soul, all to stop her from becoming a vessel for a new god's awakening.
