Important! I abandoned the story I wrote before. I'm back after a year to revise it and start again. The locked chapters are being revised and will be unlocked when I'm done. Although the revisions are almost the same as rewriting it, the basic direction of the original plot hasn't changed much. I've added a lot of everyday scenes, so many of the events from the original version will happen later. I deleted the romance because I don't know how to write it.
New Synopsis
Some people say life is a wilderness.
Qingtong can only say, "Good grief, life has me boxed in."
A self-insert cosplay transmigration, a normal person's transmigration experience: a life with cheat powers.
Qingtong's transmigration experience: a daily life full of absurdity and madness.
After transmigrating, Qingtong spent five whole years suffering because the settings he'd casually written down in the past came true.
At long last, his hard times were over, and the System finally booted up after five years of delay. He thought he was finally going to get his golden finger.
Instead, the System was shared by three people, and I got all the useless features.
Looking at the chatroom feature that probably wouldn't work for most of his life, and the long-range remote control in his hand and the sensory beacon implanted in his body, Qingtong fell into deep thought. What were these even for?
So, did the System have any other features besides that one?
It did, buddy, but having them was worse than not having them.
The System issued missions to Qingtong, rewarding him with various little trinkets. You might think that's not so bad. What if the rewards were really useful? Then you're being way too naive. The missions issued by the System were things no normal person could do.
Ever since he was five, people had judged Qingtong to be "mentally ill." Those damn System missions had a lot to do with it.
Random daily missions included "search every delivery box," "leave a trash can on the Xianzhou Luofu," "coffee tasting," "document and archive strange creatures," "criticize the works of the Hundred-Handed Craftsman," "dress up as a beautiful girl and take a selfie," "make a Golem by hand," "go outside and shout, 'My big brother is the most handsome!'" and "confess your love to the first ten creatures you encounter outside," among others.
The daily missions were pure blind boxes, and so were the rewards. You had to complete at least five daily missions a week. What did that mean, did you get weekends off too?
Could you just not do the missions? Of course, friend. If you don't mind the System stripping you naked and throwing you into the street to run around bare-assed, then sure, you can skip them.
Later, Qingtong found out that the System's missions were custom-created by its users and sent to their past selves. And all of his future friends and family had had a hand in it.
Future me, how could you be so selfish!
(Self-insert group transmigration, with three people in total. There is a cyberpunk version of Teyvat. None of the three have romantic pairings; the relationships are all platonic. I'm back after a year, and I've realized I'm probably not suited to writing romance. I'll stick to friendship.)
About the power levels: don't ask. The only rule is that it's all about belief.
Theme: Fate is not an outcome, but a process.
I just discovered this new book. It's quite nice. [Xingxingyan] Ok, there's new food.
Hahahaha, worry about my old father
