Synopsis
The age Yu Wu lives in is overrun by strange beasts.
To gain the strength to fight them, humanity selects its best and brightest through round after round of trials, forming an interstellar army to deploy to battlefields across the stars.
The Federation built its final line of defense amid blood and fire. Sphinx Military Academy, a school built on piles of bones, became the dream of everyone across the stars.
The school shuttle Yu Wu was riding was attacked by strange beasts, causing her and several unlucky classmates to miss the first round of examinations.
On the first day of the second round, Yu Wu made a strong impression on people across the stars with her outstanding performance.
In Yu Wu's livestream chat:
"I have a feeling this Yu Wu is going to show up on The Next Generation of Stars: Who Will Claim the Sphinx Crown?"
"Bit early to say that. Her total score is only 246 so far."
"What did she do during the first exam?"
"I know! Yu Wu and I went to Imperial High School. Something happened to our shuttle, and we missed the first exam. I was pretty badly injured, so I dropped out."
"Missing one exam costs a lot of points. I think Yu Wu will only just scrape into Sphinx."
After the Sphinx Military Academy entrance exams ended, a picture topped the trending searches on the Star Network: a blonde girl holding the Federation Cup.
Overnight, the name Yu Wu, the record-breaking top scorer of the 1026 Sphinx entrance exams, became a legend on countless screens.

The official Sphinx Military Academy account replied with dry humor: "That would violate her portrait rights. We welcome applicants from all walks of life to apply to Sphinx."
