What Could a Beagle Possibly Do Wrong!

(I've finished revising and replacing the entire old version. I hope you enjoy reading! For just two yuan, the price of an ice cream cone, you can take Xiao Bi and his human home!)

Bai Ge woke up one day and found he'd turned into a beagle.

Good news: There are no other beagles in this world besides him, so no one knows the fearsome reputation of the Beagle Overlord yet! Bad news: Wait, what bad news? Baby beagles will rule the world! No more holding back! He's going to fulfill his dream from his working days: crawl around in the dark and smash his way through the world!

Guided by the principle of pretending to be well-behaved for half an hour in exchange for a lifetime of riches, Baby Beagle successfully tricks someone into taking him in. His new sucker, uh, human, is a very reserved and quiet person. No problem, Beagle will help you!

After accidentally turning back into a human, Bai Ge thought he'd be ordered to "turn back." Instead, his human was so moved that he tearfully cried, "Great, great, we'll just stay human!"

Later, someone interviewed Bai Ge about why he started dating Qiu Mingshan. Bai Ge answered confidently, "If someone can put up with a beagle, they can't be that bad. That's my philosophy. The Beagle Way!"

Qiu Mingshan, standing beside him, seriously added, "He's actually very well-behaved. Don't stereotype him. He doesn't even kill people or start fires."

Qiu Mingshan: rich, gloomy, pitiful, controlling and constantly restraining himself, and a mutant boy-mom who would ask whether their Bai Ge could be a child model (?)

The protagonist turns human midway through the story and falls in love with the love interest. There is a secondary couple, but the main story won't feature their romance, though the relationship between the two characters may be mentioned.

[Warning: The protagonist is a beagle, and there will probably be a lot of him getting picked on early on, though I'll try to avoid overdoing it. You can feel sorry for the love interest, but please do it while feeling sorry for the beagle's human. Please don't insult the protagonist, thank you, or I'll open the door and send Beagle after you (just kidding).]

Plot idea saved on March 28, 2025. Once I work out the outline, I'll be ready to start writing (rubs hands).

Theme: Care for animals and live positively
