Lu Bingxun is a college student majoring in agriculture.
She arrives in ancient times with a library, only to find herself so poor she can't afford a thing.
Other people can split a penny in half to make it last, but she doesn't even have a penny to split.
The agriculture student turns into a real farmer and starts living off the land.
She clears wasteland, plants crops and sells vegetables, gathers firewood and picks mushrooms...
Digs lotus roots from ponds, catches fish and shrimp, and goes frog and crab fishing...
Repairs walls and builds houses, raises chickens and pigs, plays with cats and walks little dogs...
Once she has enough to eat and drink, farmer Lu Bingxun says: There's so much to do!
A few things to know before reading: 1. The protagonist farms throughout the story. At most, she'll do a little small-time trading. She won't become an official or grow fabulously rich! 2. The story is mainly about food, drink, and farming. Some events may sacrifice realism for fun, so this may not be for you. 3. It hasn't been decided whether this will be a no-romance story or a romance.
