The circus that Li Mao Ling belongs to is on the verge of closing.
These days, not many people watch circus acts anymore. Audiences who know all the tricks are no longer impressed.
The ringmaster decides to take a risk and lead the circus into the tropical rainforest.
Far away in South America, the down-on-his-luck magician Ji Mi Guang joins the troupe.
He's handsome, and his astonishing magic tricks leave audiences in awe.
His specialty is a card trick where there is one card the audience can never draw.
The Queen of Hearts.
Except for Li Mao Ling.
He tells her she's his very own Queen of Hearts.
Li Mao Ling laughs. "Liar."
But she still puts on the ring he gave her.
Ji Mi Guang admits he's a liar. He's told countless falsehoods in his life, but one thing he said was true.
The words "I love you" he said to Li Mao Ling.
