A terminally ill humanities student, K, transmigrates and binds himself to a high-risk role-playing System: a ten-year death countdown begins, and a challenge involving ten split personalities is unlocked!
As he struggles to survive, how will he portray ten "mad" characters from literary history?
Welcome to a stage where classic literary characters and the world of crossover anime and manga come together!
And so, everyone can see:
A pale, elegant Slavic philosopher in gold-rimmed glasses, lurking behind every conspiracy with a cold smile as his pen lays bare human nature and madness;
A frail college student dancing wildly beneath the moon with an axe in tow, then bending down afterward to wipe the tears from a child's face;
In an abyss echoing with the howls of curses, a melancholic prince waters roses with poison;
At a meeting of the Sicilian executives, an alchemist signs an eternal-life contract with a demon;
On a skyscraper rooftop, amid a clash of red and black, a rebel and an ambitious schemer laugh aloud as everything explodes...
They are destroyers of order and inheritors of suffering.
Ideals, reality, survival, and death are all their battlegrounds. After countless entanglements and turmoil, they charge without hesitation toward their endings, writing legend after legend.
K keeps his good deeds hidden, leaves with countless accolades and tears, and becomes the one everyone, characters and audience alike, cannot help but mourn.
Afterward, he even asks, "Huh? Am I a bad person?"

· A wild premise where classic Western literature collides with a crossover anime and manga world, also known as "Madness Team-Building."
· The characters belong to the author and the great writers. If they're out of character, blame me.
· All characters are platonic. Because of the missions, the protagonist's secret identities may seem a little flirtatious with one another, and there are scenes where viewers in the live comments ship them randomly. Consider this a heads-up. If you can't accept that, please don't force yourself to keep reading.
[1. I'm exhausted and feel awful, with no energy to do anything. I'll post a few extra chapters over the next few days, probably around four or five more, to finish the first volume.
After that, I may revise the outline, and I can't promise a regular update schedule. If I really can't keep writing, I'll remove the paywall. The platform should refund some of the earnings. I'm truly sorry.
This book means a great deal to me, but the pain of writing it has outweighed the rewards. I don't know how much longer I can keep going. Thank you all for your support and companionship. I've broken my promises many times, and I sincerely apologize again.]
Here's a plug for my upcoming derivative, no-romance story, "The Chaos Revelations of a Lovecraftian Literary Master."
Blurb:
In the year two thousand of the Otherworld Era, the superpower war finally ended, but humanity's catastrophe had only just begun. The chaos and bloodshed of war awakened the monsters hidden in the abyss.
These blue-blooded beings descended upon the human world, making this fragile planet the stage for their revels.
Some slipped into human crowds, secretly savoring feasts of flesh and passion. Others joined with humans and amused themselves through their avatars. Still others wreaked havoc, using their overwhelming power to attract followers and await the coming of desire, madness, and destruction.
This was the worst of times: the human mind would gradually descend into madness, and all the fruits of reason and beauty seemed destined to vanish. The unknown and the fear of survival became a memory shared by all.
It was also the best of times: chaos would never be everyone's fate. Humanity continued to survive with stubborn determination, and some even assimilated the monsters, turning them into nurseries that nourished their own minds.
Humanity: finding life in death, freedom and defiance in the absurd, awakening and redeeming itself from oppression, even using madness to express youth and passion.
[Volume One: Gazing at the Moon Through Bamboo]
It was born in a place called the Slums.
When it opened its eyes, a human baby was staring straight at it, grasping its not-yet-formed index finger with a tiny hand.
And so it had a fragile little "sister."
To keep his sister alive, it began, in its innocence, to imitate humans: eating, sleeping, and talking like them. To pretend it could feel pain, it even imitated a human with lung disease, coughing all the time like him. But it couldn't cough up blood, because its blood was blue.
Here, it became good "friends" with a powerful human with orange-colored hair, and gained its own territory and new "companions."
But for some reason, one day, several companions mysteriously stopped breathing.
In a quiet forest beneath the moonlight, a shadowy human looked down at it and said he would give it a reason to live.
An unprecedented emotion swept through its nonexistent heart, and soon transformed into another desire:
"Sir, may I eat you?"
[Volume Two: Dreams in a Sea of Flowers]
He had suffered from an eye condition since childhood and was now completely blind.
Fortunately, his ability gave him an exceptionally keen sense of smell and hearing.
He also had two very close friends, one man and one woman.
The one who seemed to be a woman smelled of coffee, ink, and tuberose. Sharp and composed, he met her by the university cafe.
The one who seemed to be a man smelled of sunshine, the sea, and tobacco. Warm and stubborn, they met at a dangerous gathering.
He got along well with both, but the other two were sometimes close and sometimes at odds. He prided himself on being clever, yet could never make sense of it.
And now, could someone please explain this to him? One of them was supposed to be dead. He had just given a speech at that person's funeral. So why, after returning, could he smell the dead man's unmistakable scent all over the other one?
[Volume Three: Snowfield and Fire Rain]
A landscape painter who had never been famous in life died. Everyone said he'd gone mad before his death, because he could never paint a portrait of his best friend.
His friend, a somewhat famous doctor, was devastated and insisted it was all a rumor. The painter had died of heart disease.
The doctor hung the landscapes the painter had made for him in his bedroom and study, along with a part of the painter himself. Nothing was wrong with any of that.
Until one winter, a badly wounded soldier fled into the village and burst into the doctor's clinic.
The doctor treated the soldier, winning his friendship with a meal of flatbread and fish soup, as well as a great many letters.
The soldier recognized the doctor's talent and hoped he would join him on a certain path. The doctor only smiled and asked the soldier to meet his "other friends" first...
[Volume Four: Singing Madly on a Desolate Road]
They shared one muse, but that muse had two faces.
Sometimes it was a golden-haired boy. Sometimes it was a thrilling collective entity no poem could describe.
They remained close, admiring all the muse's rebellious theories and absurd remarks. Even the way "he" crunched on glass was beautiful.
Until one day, "he" told them he might have made a terrible mistake. He went to turn himself in and ended up in prison.
They followed him into prison, then destroyed it. Next, they stole a truck, stuffed everyone inside, and drove off into the distance.
They rolled down the windows and stepped on the gas, pouring out sweat and blood and tears. On this long, endless road, they would sing as they raced toward the sky and their ending...
· This contains lots of transformative works about writers who aren't in the original. Please expect out-of-character portrayals; that's on me. Some ideas are inspired by real-life writers and their gossip.
· Ensemble cast, all platonic.
· An atypical Lovecraftian story, purely driven by wild ideas.
If you're interested, you can save it to your collection!
Theme: Celebrating humanity's ideals and suffering
Okay, okay, Chuuya deserves to be honest, and he also deserves such a straightforward and non-circumferential joining ceremony. I hope this can become a new destination.
The 100% impression value of the vest does not necessarily have to end with destruction to deepen the impression, right?!
I remember that Meursault Prison also has a superpower. Could it be Camus' superpower? (It doesn't seem to be the case. If it was a superpower, how could Osamu Dazai be imprisoned?)
Oh... Goodbye, Ivan...
Woohoo😭Teacher, I really can't let you go and I can't let go of this book, but I don't want to make you suffer. This book really brings me a lot of meaning
Is Ivan planning to log off after deepening his impression? Or is it paving the way for Luo Jia?
*:ஐ٩(๑´ᵕ`)۶ஐ:*Okay, new chapter!
I love you, madam. If you are not feeling well, you should take a good rest. We will take our time with this book. It doesn't matter.
Will the master come back for more updates🥺🥺
Sure enough, this plot looked very familiar to me. The author combines the depth of writing and content very well 😳
