A few things to know before reading: My writing style is rather old-fashioned and aimed at younger readers, and I'm a multishipper in the Digimon fandom. So although this is BG, there will also be a little fanservice for male readers. If that bothers you, please read with caution. You can tell from my profile that I've always been a big Daisuke fan. I had this idea before writing my other Digimon fic, but I've never been good at getting things done, and I changed the setting over and over. Then came the 25th anniversary PV, and in the new game Time Stranger, Ruki's partner is Aegiomon. I decided back in 2014 that the heroine of my future Digimon fic would have Elecmon as her partner, and in 2019 I settled on the evolution line going from Elecmon to Aegiomon rather than to Leomon. So I decided to start this and save the idea here.
Elecmon's evolution line in this story is Punimon - Leomon - Elecmon - Aegiomon - Aegiochusmon, up to the Ultimate level.
I won't change the main plot of Digimon Adventure 02. Daisuke and Ken will still be the main fighters, along with Miyako and Iori, and Takeru and Hikari. Mao and Elecmon will only provide support, with a role closer to that of the original Adventure cast. The romance follows the original, and Sora won't end up with Takeru. If you have a problem with Hikari and Takeru, please (.
