An Ling was once a strand of Xie Yi's affection, but through a stroke of destiny, he took human form and accidentally became Xie Yi's disciple. An Ling believed Xie Yi was a relative he'd never met, while Xie Yi was convinced An Ling was the son of the enemy who had stolen his strand of affection. The two tested each other, and amid schemes and manipulation, developed feelings for one another. After joining forces to fight off the demon clan, they set out to explore the world together.
