Here's the blurb: After Li Yanyi's parents each started new families and had new children, and stopped paying so much attention to him, he continued to dream of becoming an outstanding singer like his father, in an era when Hong Kong entertainment was in decline and his father had retired. Through a friend, he auditioned for S.M.'s Western division, then went to Korea to train and prepare for his debut. Timeline: At the end of 2020, he left his school in Britain alone and went to Korea to join S.M. During the S.M. 2.0 era, thanks to his father's former popularity in Korea, his school background and looks, both of which attracted attention, and his vocal talent, S.M. 2.0 decided to make him a secret weapon for a new group's debut. S.M. 3.0 was scrapped when the company decided not to debut Chinese members. He left the company in early March 2023. Due to Han's departure, the company urgently called him back in December of the same year and parachuted him into RIIZE's debut lineup. Li Yanyi Birthday: 2004.12.09 Nationality: Huaguo, Hong Kong / American Background: Until the age of thirteen, he mainly lived on the mainland with his grandfather and went to Hong Kong to see his parents. After thirteen, following his grandfather's death and in accordance with his grandfather's wishes, he went to study in Britain. Later, his mother and her current partner had a younger brother, and they paid less attention to him. In 2020, he arranged to take a leave of absence on his own and went from Britain to Korea. Since he was a minor and needed a guardian's contact information to sign a contract, he agreed with his father that he could continue pursuing a debut only if he got into university. So, due to the pandemic, he continued his studies online, finished high school, and was admitted to university... RIIZE is 8 out RIIZE is 7, yes Theme: Debut as a member of Lap Chair
