Sensitive, quietly unhinged girl × calm, composed, dom-like guy
Mutual pining | Not-quite-siblings | Both each other’s first | Five-year age gap
Fang Su became Cheng Yin and moved in with the Cheng family. Cheng’s mother called her Yin Yin at every turn and doted on her.
Nineteen-year-old Cheng Yuchi remained calm and collected at the dinner table. “She isn’t Yin Yin.”
She had always known her place. The Cheng mother and son treated her with such affection only because they thought of her as Cheng Yin. She shouldn’t entertain improper feelings about them.
On a drizzly day in her little apartment, she looked at Cheng Yuchi’s phone-screen image, at the veins standing out on the back of his hand, and slipped her hand into her own cotton candy. From then on, Cheng Yuchi discovered the feelings she had kept buried in her heart and began keeping his distance from her.
One day, after accidentally drinking too much, she staggered back to her apartment. Her usually disciplined and cold older brother appeared there, and she thought she was hallucinating.
Fueled by alcohol, Fang Su threw herself at him and did what she would never have dared to do sober. On her small fabric sofa, she unbuckled Cheng Yuchi’s belt.
The next day, she disappeared from Rongcheng.
Her usually composed older brother searched the entire city like a madman. In Beicheng, 4,200 kilometers away, Fang Su had just gotten a new local SIM card when she received a call from an unfamiliar number in Rongcheng. She answered cautiously. “Hello?”
The man on the other end sounded as composed as ever, but with a trace of mocking laughter. “How am I? You got your pants back on and refused to take responsibility. How am I supposed to be?”
-
Fang Su remembered her brother’s words: “You’ll always be my little sister.”
So she went out to meet people, went skiing, and took night rides, doing everything she could to make Cheng Yuchi worry.
Finally, amid a cheering crowd, Cheng Yuchi forcibly carried Fang Su away and carefully tucked her into the car. He gripped her chin with one hand, and his rough, passionate kiss revealed the feelings he had suppressed for so long. In the brief pause between breaths, he gritted his teeth and asked, “Didn’t you tell me not to marry anyone else? I did what you asked. What about you?”
“When you saw me in the same room as another man, did you ever think I might get jealous?”
Fang Su blinked. “But you made him leave.”
Cheng Yuchi’s eyes were full of churning jealousy. “You’re still mad at me!”
The sweetness of thawing frost spread through the car.

---Coming soon: Fantasy pseudo-sibling story, Is He My Brother?---
A pretty, kind, honest younger sister who is blind in both heart and eyes × a vile, shameless, fragile and broken demon-dragon pretending to be her older brother, who lies through his teeth
Zhao Lingjiao and Zhao Tingbai were an unusual family in Huaqiao Village. The younger sister, Zhao Lingjiao, was blind, and the older brother, Zhao Tingbai, was deaf and mute. Their early years were hard, and after both their parents died, they had only each other.
The villagers all helped take care of them, and at last their lives became a little less difficult. Zhao Lingjiao thought they could live this peaceful way forever.
Then one day, an earthquake struck somewhere nearby, and Huaqiao Village was lightly affected. Zhao Lingjiao never saw her brother come home again, and no villagers came by whom she could ask.
After four or five days, she heard a noise at the door. Zhao Lingjiao stumbled outside and brought her brother back, covered in wounds. She washed the blood from him, fed him soup, and applied medicine. After she had cared for him for some time, he was finally able to speak. Thrilled, Zhao Lingjiao worked even harder in the medicinal herb fields.
If only she could see, too.
Her brother’s voice was gentle and pleasant. Once he had recovered, the two of them had an easier life than before.
Zhao Lingjiao mentioned that an old woman in the village, Granny Zhao Huan, had a kind, gentle voice and grew lots of mushrooms. She often brought some over, but Zhao Lingjiao hadn’t seen her in a while.
The next day, Granny Zhao Huan arrived with mushrooms.
Zhao Lingjiao mentioned Zhao Niu, a young man at the east end of the village. The ducks he raised laid so many eggs that his family couldn’t eat them all, so he brought some for the siblings. She hadn’t seen him for a while, either.
The next day, Zhao Niu arrived with a basket of duck eggs.
Life seemed to have returned to normal.
But her brother said that if she wanted to see again, she would have to do something more intimate with him. For the first time, Zhao Lingjiao kissed her brother mouth to mouth, and they touched each other beneath their clothes.
The next day, her brother was gone.

A demon dragon had been sealed away for a thousand years. One day, as the seal weakened, he let out a mighty dragon’s roar, broke through it, and soared into the heavens. But this alarmed the great cultivation clans, who joined forces to seal him again.
After a world-shaking battle between immortals and dragons, the land lay devastated. The demon dragon fell, wounded, into a village in the mortal realm. The village had been caught in the fighting, and no one had survived.
He found a thatched cottage that seemed to be mostly intact and opened the courtyard gate. A girl in pale yellow, bright and lovely as the moon, appeared before him.
He watched her warily, but she seemed unable to see. Stumbling, she hurried to the doorway, reached out to touch his face, and asked softly, “Is that you, Big Brother?”
From then on, he took over Zhao Tingbai’s identity, Zhao Tingbai’s name, and Zhao Tingbai’s younger sister.
