[Honkai: Star Rail] Reincarnated as a Xuanfeng Troll, Then Became Invincible

Mydeimos, please stay behind me. I am the current royal historian of the Kremnosian king in Amphoreus. As everyone knows, what's the most important thing for a royal historian? Recording the king's life, while also maintaining professional integrity: no making things up, and everything must be supported by evidence. The king said: "The word 'retreat' does not exist in Kremnos' dictionary." "The word 'flinch' does not exist in the Kremnosians' dictionary." "The word 'fear' does not exist in the Kremnosians' dictionary." "The word 'stage fright' does not exist in the Kremnosians' dictionary." "The word 'suffering' does not exist in the Kremnosians' dictionary." "The word 'being afraid' should never have existed in the Kremnosians' dictionary." "The word 'romance' doesn't exist in Kremnos' dictionary." As the royal historian, when the king spoke, I naturally wrote it down. And since a historian can only record facts and mustn't make things up, and the king is so great and generous that he couldn't possibly make things up... Here's the problem: I can't make things up, and the king can't make things up. We have no reason to make things up about a mere dictionary, so why doesn't what I recorded match reality? I slowly turned my eyes toward the Kremnos dictionary on my desk and realized where the problem lay. Clearly, the dictionary was entirely to blame! As the royal historian, I must defend the king's reputation. I absolutely cannot let future generations mistake him for the likes of Zagreus. I tampered with the dictionary. I only meant to write a short story, but I ended up writing 40,000 words in one go, and it looks like there's a lot more to come... So I've turned it into a long serial. The pacing in the first eleven chapters probably isn't great, so please bear with me. There may be some timeline issues. When I started, I never intended to write a long story, so the timing of some plot details may be off. Don't think too hard about it; it gives me a headache too. I can't exactly revise the whole thing from the beginning, can I? The protagonist is the no-name, no-gender, no-ship sort. You can imagine them as a man, a woman, or even an accessory to the God's Mouth. The whole story is free. Please don't expect too much from me. I started writing in a fit of anger and worked myself to the bone, but when my motivation runs out, I might vanish pretty quickly. If you can, come find me on Lofter and hang out. I use JJ for archiving. (Actually, I update everything on Lofter.) I wrote 140,000 words in 15 days... It was sitting on JJ anyway, so I figured I might as well make it public... The Lofter collection is titled The Kremnosian Historian's Daily Rants. You can also find it by searching the title of this story directly. Anyway, I had a great time writing it. If you see a chapter under review late at night, it's because I'm fixing typos. I haven't signed a contract, so I can't enable chapter comments (JJ, come on...). If you're used to leaving comments on chapters, you can do that on Lofter instead. Theme: Witness an epic
