Kong Xiuli is the wife of Zhou Xiang's short-lived older brother, which makes him Zhou Xiang's sister-in-law.

Late at night, Kong Xiuli knelt on the ground and begged Zhou Xiang not to kill himself.
Zhou Xiang asked, "Do you like me?"
"I love you."
Hearing that, Zhou Xiang contentedly slit his wrist.
