Shen Zhiwei has many things in her life: family, friends, hobbies, and, most important of all, physics.
She has too little time and energy left for love.
So she thinks she probably won't fall for anyone.
Later, she falls in love with Xie Huaiyan because of physics, and, as expected, leaves him because of physics.
Fortunately, Xie Huaiyan has plenty of patience, and waiting is what he does best.
The whole story was inspired by this line: "Each of us strives along our own path; a thousand miles away, we share the same wind."
I want to write a story about one of the first generation of female scientists in Republican-era China.
