Qu He had spent years playing vicious cannon fodder.
The task wasn't difficult, because everyone in the protagonist group in the small worlds he visited was kindhearted and good.
Once Qu He completed his task of tormenting the protagonist group, he could stay in that small world for good.
Would the protagonist group make his life difficult? Even when Qu He was at his worst, they had never retaliated too harshly. If he simply settled down and lived honestly, they certainly wouldn't hurt him.
However, after every storyline ended, the System would mix up Qu He's traits from one world with those from another.
World One: An Omega who goes into heat in the real world
Qu He was a poor student who worked all sorts of part-time jobs in a campus novel. He shared a four-person dorm with the protagonist group.
All he had to do was glare darkly with jealousy at the protagonist group's family backgrounds and good looks, refuse their offers of help, then listen to someone egg him on into framing one of them for theft. Once the truth came out, he'd be thrown out of the dorm.
But after the storyline ended, Qu He went into heat at the same time every month.
Qu He missed his morning classes, lying in the dorm and whimpering in discomfort, his bare, pearly skin draped with countless pieces of jewelry.
The gentle dorm leader leaned over him, bracing himself at Qu He's side. His deep gaze lingered on Qu He's flushed skin as he said with a pleasant smile, "Hehe, how about I help you out once for every gift?"
The other dorm members hadn't seen Qu He, who was supposed to be in morning class, so they all hurried back. In unison, they said, "Hehe, it's my turn today."
World Two: A no-name celebrity in the entertainment industry who loses his memory every day
Qu He was a trainee who debuted at the bottom of the entertainment industry rankings. He and the protagonist group were in the most popular boy band.
Qu He relied on his boyfriend, the entertainment industry's powerful heir, to get a spot in the band. But after getting his chance to debut, he didn't value it. He threw his weight around, built a public image only to ruin it, betrayed his bandmates, and even foolishly cheated, throwing away the powerful boyfriend who had been backing him all along.
But after the storyline ended, Qu He woke up every morning with his mind completely blank. He could only plan his day by checking the notes he'd made the day before.
The cool, handsome band leader appeared by Qu He's bed right on time that morning. His dark eyes were solemn. "I'm your boyfriend. If you don't believe me, check your notebook."
The next day, it was the aloof dance specialist who became famous at sixteen and later took first place in international competitions, earning acclaim at home and abroad.
The third day, it was the child star rapper who had toured the world with his superstar mother since childhood.
World Three: An ordinary person with a cross-dressing fetish in a post-apocalyptic world
Qu He had grown up with the protagonist group as their childhood friend. After the apocalypse, all his friends awakened special abilities, while Qu He remained an ordinary person who couldn't even hurt a fly.
His childhood friends protected him at every turn, and the journey to the shelter was easy. He had plenty to eat and wear, and never even scraped his skin. But when the zombie horde came, he resolutely abandoned his friends and drove away alone.
But after the storyline ended, Qu He couldn't take his eyes off little skirts.
His three childhood friends all conveniently forgot that Qu He had run off by himself.
Childhood friend with spatial powers: "Hehe, how about I set aside some space just for your little skirts?"
Childhood friend with water powers: "Hehe, I can make sure you get to wear clean little skirts every day."
Childhood friend with lightning powers: "Then I can only curl your wig for you?"
"But you aren't allowed to leave us."
World Four: A stalker Omega in an ABO world
In the ABO world, Qu He differentiated as the weakest type of Omega. He was one of the possible marriage candidates for the protagonist group.
Qu He was spoiled and willful. With compatibility rates above 90% with the protagonist group, he behaved however he pleased, demanding the moon and stars. But when the protagonist group went into rut, he was afraid of pain and wouldn't let them extract even a little of his glandular fluid, let alone let them bite him.
But after the storyline ended, Qu He kept following the Alphas against his will.
The Alphas always spotted him right away, but calmly took him home and hid this Omega, who had no idea how dangerous the outside world was, in their bedrooms. They held him in their arms, scolded the little Omega for his "bad behavior," and gave him a safety lecture.
World Five: A illegitimate son with face blindness in a wealthy-family novel
Qu He was an illegitimate son who had just been brought back into a wealthy family. The family's only heir had died unexpectedly, so Qu He had to take his place and get close to the protagonist group.
Qu He successfully joined their circle, but when the protagonist group's funding chain broke, he pulled out his investment without a second thought.
But after the storyline ended, Qu He kept mistaking people for each other.
Protagonist 1: "Hehe, you were so warm with me yesterday. Why are you pretending not to know me today?"
Qu He said hesitantly, "Was I?"
Protagonist 2: "Hehe, you ignored me a few days ago. Have you forgiven me today?"
Qu He looked dazed. "Is that so?"
Protagonist 3: "Hehe, you just told me you really liked my eyes. I went to the bathroom and came back, and now you're saying the same thing to this guy? Our eyes don't look anything alike."
Qu He replied blankly, "Did I?"
World Six: A small streamer with skin hunger in a full-dive world
Qu He was a shut-in who livestreamed online every day to earn a little money. He barely made enough to avoid starving. He worked for the same company as the protagonist group, a group of popular streamers who had hundreds of thousands of viewers online at any given moment.
Jealous of how much money the protagonist group made every day, Qu He maliciously spread rumors about them during his livestreams to grab attention and traffic.
But after the storyline ended, Qu He developed skin hunger. Every day, he could only hide inside a huge fuzzy teddy bear. When his symptoms flared up, he could barely get a word out.
Top donor: "Hehe, I'll take you to a therapist. You'll get better faster."
Second-highest donor: "Hehe, I bought you a new plush toy. Its fur is softer, so it should suit you better."
Third-highest donor: "Hehe, how about we meet in person? I can help you with systematic desensitization therapy."
As expected, all of Qu He's top donors were members of the protagonist group.
