A few notes about this story

1. About the dynasties

First, a sheepish confession: I write about whichever ethnic group comes to mind, using the group's name as my main point of reference. So this story will feature a mix of several ethnic groups, truly bringing about the great unity of all the peoples of our motherland... ⊙﹏⊙b

2. About the royal family

Another sheepish confession: I have absolutely no idea how all the relationships among aunts, uncles, and other relatives work... So if you spot any mistakes, please leave a comment and point them out. I suppose I have only myself to blame for making things so complicated, but I've already written so much that changing it now would throw everything into chaos... ⊙﹏⊙b

3. About ancient vessels and utensils

Another confession: I only have a vague understanding of this. Although I've studied quite a bit of history and know which dynasties certain objects belong to, such as cotton-padded clothes only becoming widely used in the Ming Dynasty and blue-and-white porcelain originating in the Yuan Dynasty... The objects in this story are all chosen on a whim, so even historically accurate artifacts will appear across different eras. That's why I chose to set this in an alternate history. After all, if I suddenly realize that something I've written doesn't belong to the dynasty in question, it might seem like a transmigration story...

4. About customs and traditions

All the customs and traditions in this story are made up by me, with no evidence to back them up. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.

5. About official titles

These are a composite of titles from various dynasties, with the Three Kingdoms period as the main influence... because my computer is full of games set in that era...

6. About the Azure, White, Vermilion, and Black series

You can probably guess what inspired the names... There are four books, mainly covering wuxia, fantasy, palace intrigue, and other historical genres. I may even try my hand at horror and suspense...

7. Why the blurb is so long

Sheepish... I'm a Virgo, so whenever I notice a flaw, I can't help going on and on explaining it... I hope all my readers will understand, support me, and cheer me on.
