Fu Qingyu opens the door to a friend's home and accidentally runs into a clingy "puppy," Qi Fang.

Fu Qingyu's first impression of Qi Fang is that he's a sweet, outgoing kid who doesn't drink or sing. Qi Fang is her friend's younger cousin, and a soon-to-be college student. Fu Qingyu likes him because her friend does.

First impressions are often misleading.

More like pretending to be sweet.

But his outgoing nature is the real deal.

Fu Qingyu doesn't want to fall in love, but she can't fend off his passionate, straightforward advances. She glances at the person in her arms and thinks maybe they've gotten a little too close.

Qi Fang falls in love at first sight. His cousin is the first to object, and Fu Qingyu's ex-boyfriend also shows up to compete for her.

Fu Qingyu is worse: she's kind to him while rejecting him.

When Qi Fang breaks down, Fu Qingyu's defenses fail and she kisses him.

Fu Qingyu: We aren't right for each other.

Qi Fang: ? You kissed me, and now you're saying we aren't right for each other?

Fu Qingyu: I... I'm 4i.
